Trained by a Master Western Astrologer for nearly a year while living in Peru, I have delivered hundreds of astrology readings to enthusiastic recipients around the world since 2015. I offer natal chart, solar return, relationship synastry, and astrocartography (geographical astrology) readings.
My signature program, EPIC Consultations and Coaching, utilizes astrology as a tool for activating one's fullest potential and alignment with their life purpose. EPIC is an acronym for Embodying the Potential Inherent in your Consciousness.
With a background in Music Education, I have been teaching in one form or anothersince 2002. I received my 200 hour YTT certification in 2013 at Yandara Yoga and competed a 500 hour YTT certification in 2015 at Hridaya Yoga (Mexico) where I taught for two years.
I have taught hundreds of classes and continue to teach in person at my home studio as well as online. Since 2020, I have served as an associate instructor for the annual 200-hour Teacher Training at the Sewall House Yoga Retreat in Island Falls, Maine.
Most people have heard of or experienced a "Dark Night of the Soul." It is a phrase coined by Saint John of the Cross that is used to describe a time of disconnection, darkness, despair.
My teacher and the founder of Hridaya Yoga, Sahajananda, once gave a beautiful lecture in which he explained that this phrase is often misunderstood, focusing exclusively upon the suffering and despair.
The deeper message that Saint John of the Cross meant to convey was that while in his darkest hour--nine months of imprisonment in a closet so small he could not even stand up, and was beaten and starved--he said there was “no other guide, no other light than the one in my own heart, shining bright.”
This connection to the inner guidance of the heart is essential to our well-being on all levels. Having navigated my own Dark Nights of the Soul since early in life, I have found that the practices of yoga, meditation, and personal alignment are essential to the development of inner stability. These principles are at the core of all GHSA offerings.
